Ring Care

Lab-grown stones are just as hard and durable as mined diamonds, so your ring is built for everyday wear. A little care keeps it looking its best for a lifetime.

Daily habits

  • Remove your ring before showering, swimming, cleaning, applying lotion, or the gym.
  • Put it on last when getting ready, and take it off first when you get home.
  • Avoid harsh chemicals and chlorine, which can dull metal over time.

Cleaning at home

  • Soak for a few minutes in warm water with a drop of mild dish soap.
  • Brush gently behind the stone with a soft toothbrush to lift everyday film.
  • Rinse and pat dry with a lint-free cloth.

Storage

  • Store your ring separately in the pouch provided so it doesn’t scratch other jewelry.
  • Have the prongs checked by a jeweler about once a year.

A note on gold vermeil. Vermeil is a heavy gold layer over sterling silver. Treat it gently and keep it dry to preserve the finish. Solid gold can be worn with fewer worries.
